Mikvah Prep Checklist

The checklist below is interactive. Please check each step as it is completed to help you ensure that each step in the process has been done. Once your immersion is complete you may reset the checklist for the next time

Ask a Rabbi

It is very important to realize that the rabbi is here for your benefit. The laws of Family Sanctity are sacred and complex, the rabbi is there to guide you. Do not try to decide things on your own. Bedikot, stains on garments or linens and situations you are unsure of, are reason to consult the rabbi.

All Veset HaChodesh dates are canceled once they are passed clean

However, many Rabbanim require you to carry Veset Hachodesh dates to the next month if they occur during your actual Flow. Do you follow the shitah to carry those Veset Hachodesh dates? (If you are uncertain, please consult your rabbi)

    Add a New Flow

    • You will need to manually compute your onot of separation including Veset Haflagah, Chodesh and Benoni. We advise you to get your calculations double checked by a competent orthodox rabbi or rebbetzin.

      Haflagah Numbers to Carry Over

A haflagah number is a count of onot beginning with the night onah immediately following your most recent successful Hefsek Taharah and terminating on the onah of this flow (inclusive). Any previous haflagah onot of separation for number/s higher than the haflagah number of this flow should be added to the haflagah list as well as the haflaga number of this flow.

      Add a new number:

      Chodesh Dates to Carry Over

Please add vestot hachodesh (onahs of separation based on day of the hebrew month) that you have recorded occuring on or after this flow.
